Big week

This has been a big week for our puppies!  First of all, they started to open their eyes.  It was so fun to get to see them better.
On Monday, when they turned 2 weeks old, we noticed that a few of them seemed to be crawling off their blankie to go potty, so we put paper down for them.  A couple were, very obviously, crawling to it every time and within a few days, they were all using the paper very often.  Yay!!
Then, on Tuesday, we noticed that they were starting to try to play with each other.  It's unbelievably cute to watch them chew on each other and paw at each other.  They're still unsteady on their feet so they knock each other down constantly.  
It has been a fun week for seeing more of their personalities too.  Some of them like to bark at each other when they play.  Some of them don't love the gate that we put up for them this week. :-)   Little Amethyst especially goes around the edges sticking her nose in the openings of the gate system.

We got a few pictures today of Zircon, our biggest boy, curled up with Amethyst, our littlest girl.  They are starting to get their feet under them to toddle around and most of them had peeping eyes too.  We're going to have to get a gate up this week for them. :-)

Eye's peeping open

Emerald's eye's were peeping open just a little bit this morning.  They are going to be much more mobile soon.  
The puppies had visitor's again last night.  Lily and Jack also got a "Congratulations" card.  So thoughtful and cute!

Wagging little tails

I had to laugh yesterday as I realized that they are starting to wag their tails.  As they were eating, their little tails wiggled back and forth.  They can't lift them high yet but that almost made it even cuter.

They are never lacking for love and attention!

 

One Week Old

They are already a week old.  They are growing and changing so fast!  We had to loosen their collars already and we can see that their eyes are getting ready to start opening.  Ten in a basket together makes it a little hard to see their individuality so here are pictures of them separately so you can see them more clearly.

Sweet puppies

Their little noses are turning black now.  They are so cute and it makes them look different.  It's funny to watch their personalities showing as they are growing.  The kids each have their favorite.  They, of course, think we should keep them all!
